Mandate:

• To provide home-based services to families of children from birth to school age experiencing disabilities, developmental delays and those at risk of delay.

Goals:

1. To help parents see that they are their child's expert and very best teacher.
2. To provide support and assistance to parents in order to meet their child's developmental needs.
3. To inform parents of available services and make referrals.
4. To teach and assist parents in being advocates on behalf of their children and their needs.
5. To work with other early childhood professionals and childcare providers.
6. To educate parents and the community about Early Childhood development.
7. To assist in appropriate transition into the school system.
